Notes on this view:

This turn-of-the-century collodion POP studio portrait depicts a young man cropped in a vignette. The background is plain with no decorative backdrop or props. The print is mounted to a standard-sized cabinet card, with the photography studio and location embossed and gilded on the card mount below the image. The cream mount appears to have been popular in the late nineteen and early twentieth century. Notice the decorative embossing around the perimeter of the mount.
